Agreed. Never heard of Operation Ro-go. Off to the Googler.............................

This is my go-to site for WW2 operations code-names. 72 pages, about 100 operations per page...... Find operations | Operations & Codenames of WWII

Ro-go was a no-no. Good author too!

Today's triple treat arrival with the postman this morning. Took advantage of the 10% off offer that is running on Wingleader Photo Archive titles until 30 June. Helps offset the overseas postage costs a little. Should keep me occupied for some time absorbing what they cover.

Like the look of that Anson book!

Thanks chaps. Couldn't resist this one. Published in 2001 and only 200 copies - love reading about these obscure units.

Have to get a copy of this. My Grandfather served in that unit during the war.

Where did you find a copy?

I have this one already: RAAF Air Ambulance & Medical Air Evacuation Units 1940 – 46

It might be a good companion

My wife grabbed this for me.
Maybe she loves me after all.
