David Vincent is an excellent researcher and author. Get his RAAF Hudson books if you don't already own them. I finished Don Williams' The CAC Boomerang last month. Overall it was an easy read that I completed over two days. It provides the reader context on Australia's aircraft manufacturing industry at the time and the need to supplement imported aircraft due to the current Allied war situation in late 1941/early 1942. Additionally, it covers the combat career of the Boomerang along with a few nice biographies of the men who flew them.
Hey Paul, they are the latest releases only out 2 weeks ago. I could have got mine a week earlier but couldn't get down to my mates shop then. Thanks for the info Andy and great scores there. I have quite a few of the Pacific profiles books but not those two.

You will find it most interesting - including his comments on his aircrew suffering from scurvy due to the lack of good food.
