Nice work going on here. I really like watching you guys do your magic on these old kits. If I may ask where did you get the crew?

 

[Airframes]

The crew figures come with the kit Dirk. If you want them, I won't be using those in my kit. Revell also do a set of 1/72nd scale RAF Pilots and ground crew, which include sitting aircrew in various poses, and also a similar set for Lutfwaffe.

I think it would be kinda cool to build a bomber with the full crew. It shows just how tight those things actually were. Thanks for the offer Terry, but I'm not sure it would be worth the cost to ship all the way from the UK. I'll see if I can't find something on this side.

No problem Dirk. Both Revell sets should be readily available, at around $7 to $8 I'd guess, and they look rather good. I've ordered the Luftwaffe set, to convert to RAF ground crew for my Halifax! Sounds strange, but the poses are more what I need, and can easily be slightly adjusted and painted to look like 'Erks'.
