8)Well,here I'm back with more wip and the project change as promised..

I replaced the searchlights with new ones according to pics showing Mikasa battleship searchlights..

I added piping and doors to the island..

The change in plans has to do with the fact that I'll not show Hirano's Zero crashed in Pearl Harbor but aboard Akagi on the left of the diorama, on the elevator..The Zero will be shown cut in half..The first Zero I've already built will be AI-155 belonging to Lt. Commander Shigeru Itaya..

A question I'd like to ask-a confirmation to be precise-is whether the fuselage was left aluminium and not aotake as in the photograph below..

p.s.: I shoud change the forum signature I'm afraid...8)

I'm amazed at just how good this is.
Look forward to the next update.

How much time would you say you have spent so far?

Cheers Chris

One I have seen pics of shows a faint hint of the aotake in the rear fuselage, another none at all, so not sure which way you should go, however the early zeros were well primed externally so it would be probable they were coated internally as well....

Thank you guys!
Yes it's the de Agostini Zero and OK Wayne, the fuselage will be aotake, thank you!
