What is the best live band in your opinion? What band gets your blood pumping the most when they are up on stage and playing music that you like? Bands that have a good stage show?

For me it is:

1. Metallica
2. Iron Maiden
3. Van Halen
4. Godsmack
5. In Flames
6. Marilyn Manson

Because I like Polls for some reason  I made this into a poll and have added bands that I think people might vote for. If a band is not up that you wish to vote for, please let me know and I will add it for you.

Ive seen all of them up there except Queen. I thought Mansons show was very impressive both times I have seen him. A really big stage show.

Like I said my two favs up there for live show are Metallica and Iron Maiden.

Negative Creep if there was someone that you think is the best live show but not on the list you can tell me and I will add it.

The ones that spring to mind are System of a Down and Machine Head. I was at the gig the latter used for their 'Hellalive' album, their slow rendition of The Burning Red which lead into the thundering Davidian still makes me go all funny inside. Great days indeed

Allright added SOAD, Floyd and Soundgarden.

SOAD was amazing live. I saw them back in 2002. Unfortuantly they are on hietus at the moment.

Ive never seen Metallica Live

But when i saw Maiden Live i sh*t my pants they were amazing

Maiden is truely amazing. The only show that I have seen that was better was Metallica in my opinion. The last time I saw Maiden they were doing an old promo thing and only playing songs off there first 4 albums. Was truely amazing. I have seen them a few time before that as well.

Metallica is the greatest live band. Fact is fact...
