Thanks guys. I had to leave earlier than I wanted to. I got there at 10 A.M. and spent most of the day. Left at 9 P.M. due to rain and lightning and did not get to shoot all of the fuel car night action. I was beat. But what I did shoot turned out fair.Here are some more. I do admire and respect the tremendous work in building and skill driving these things, but I've always loved those factory sponsored warriors of the 60's more....pretty much the same as with Nascar....
Jan, if I ever get the chance to go to the Nostalgia Drags I will. They are more fun to watch but I am addicted to horse power so I really like these to. And thank you Merv for the complement sir. They hold this race each Father's Day weekend.
Real cool shots Aaron. Never even been close to these types of machine but from where I sit it looks like the winner will usually be the one to toe the gas the quickest when the lights say go, but then again, that's providing you don't blow a gasket on the way down.
