I think the lead F-86 could be owned by Stu Eberhardt, Merlin's Magic asa well. He flew Sabres in Korea and was a Pan Am first officer.

Just an update. My PC went hard down and I've been off for awhile. I'm visiting up in Washington state now but SHOULD be home and back up and online again by the end of the month.
Miss everyone but don't exactly have much access just now ...
So ... Syscom, I guess we'll have to do the San Diego thing maybe near the end of July. Looking forward to it.

The two wing man F-86's engines were smokey, which I think is normal. The lead is smokeless. What is the info on the engines? Are they different. Is lead a Canada plane?

The lead is a Canadair with an Orenda and the wingmen are US F-86's with J-47's. The Orenda has about 2,500 pounds more thrust ... and doesn't smoke.
Down on the starboard side just behind the wing root is a scoop. If it is a NACA duct, it is a US Sabre; if it is an external scoop; it is a Canadair.
