After some time I almost completed the painting.
Pictures aren't too good, I hope to be able to do better ones soon.
As it can be seen in the last picture, there is a gap problem with the upper cowling, I will try to sort it out.
Any suggestion
Alberto

I just noticed that all my photos except the first are really terrible, I don't understand what happened, I will do my best to post new ones tomorrow.

I'm here again with new pictures, they are larger but they should be better.

Looking great. :thumbright:

As far as the pic size is concerned... the new pics seem to be smaller than these posted firstly. The first image in the post #83 is of 2616x2015 while the first one in the post #85 is of 1632x1224 pixels. The difference in the file sizes (205,8KB and 386KB) let me believe you confound the file size with the picture dimensions. Your purpose is to get a pic dimensions of 800 pixels in it width. In other words you need to make an image smaller in the width but not in the file size. The reducing in file size should be a result of making the entire pic smaller without losing its quality, colours etc... just you have to use another option for resizing that is available for the soft you use.

Here is your pic made smaller in its width without losing its quality. Note it is of the 800x600 pixels now . The file size was reduced just by the way , from the 386KB to the 128,8KB what is more than a half of the basic file.

Looking good Alberto. Strange situation with that gap in the cowling panels. Does this kit use small magnets, like the Spitfire kit, to retain the panels ?
Perhaps that's the problem area ?

Yes Terry, there are those little magnets but apparently they aren't enough. My be I will have to glue the lower one in place and look for a suitable solution for the upper one.

Many thanks,
I think I have understood what happened.
I was used to resize my picture from the original size to te one I needed by using the resize tool and by percentage and it worked, but the new version of PaintShop offer an other option while you are saving the file and this option reduce file size so, what did I did? I did both things, I reduced pixel size and file size, the result is evident.
I think that today I learned something new, but I will do some test to understand if my thoughts are correct.

I think you are right Alberto. I have had a look a the Corel Photo-Paint and there should be three options you may use for resizing.

About this subject I eventually managed to apply some decals. Some more will follow and then I will attempt to do some weathering.f
I tried different background and light exposure, but I still have to find out which one is the best.
