Got to say that the progress and improvement in your skills is notable Dirk - this is looking very good.

Here's where I am

The cannon on the spinner is solid and needs to be drilled out

The spinner halves have been painted and the rear put in place

Decals applied

I had to make new gun barrels for the under wing gun pods. I couldn't get the originals to clean up as nice as I had hopped.

The Top

The prop blur in place. I didn't have the time I had hopped for to detail this a bit more

List of remaining tasks.

-Touch up the decals. Most of the stars and bars are out of register and there is lots of white showing
-Another coat of future to seal in the decals
-Weathering
-Radio wire
-Attach aircraft to the base
-Glamour shots in natural light

I like it! Good to see a clear disc being used for the spinning prop, rather than those 'static' pe blurred prop thingies. The only time you'd see blurred 'static' prop blades is in a photo taken with a moderately fast shutter speed, so the disc looks much more convincing.
If you're able to mask the disc, leaving just the outer peripherary visible, a thin, translucent coat of yellow would really finish it off.
Nice work Dirk.
