Wings installed. Lots of filling, sanding, filling and sanding required







Engines installed, entire aircraft primed and then masked for the first bit of color. In this case a bare metal finish for the Jumo engine nacelles

Looks good Dirk, I'd rather attempt what you're doing than to build that 72nd scale vac form.
 
If you remember from an earlier post I had painted the nacelles aluminum. Now it was time to mask them for the next color, RLM02.



The canopy for this was actually kind of easy for this one. You see the kit part was void of any frame work what so ever. This allowed me to do what I wanted so using some diagrams I found and some old pictures I set to work.



I glued the canopy in place and got ready to add some color

The flash washed out the color



Without the flash you get a better idea of the color.
