Thanks for the intrest to those that have had any. Haven't gotten much accomplished. I'm still learning to deal with asthma and it SUCKS. I had to pull the radiator exhaust vent as it had gone in wrong and I don't like it after looking at Paul's excellent photos and mine for the P-51 C and D. the vent it pretty thin walled. have to grind it down. this is something PE should be done for.

Looking good. Don't forget there were a lot of detail differences between the Allison engine series and the later P-51B/C/D, with the radiator scoop and exit flpas being just one. Also, the main gear wells were different in shape and size.

The landing lights on the A-36 were installed as a dual light configuration on the left wing. The this is a large housing on the wing and the kit left it open with only the clear part for the wing and noting behind it. I cut a small piece of card stock and worked it into the hole so as to be able to depict his better. I'm not much of a surgeon but I'll get it done.

OK so as stated before the A-36 had both landing lights positioned on the right wing. the kit does not depict that but wil a hole in the wing. I filled int the hole and pused in to flat head sewing pins for the head lights.

Well thanks for the kind words. Got the canopy on and mask on the canopy, well I putt he mask on before I mounted the canopy, well anyway, had to clamp the canopy down while the Gater Grip glue did it's thin. then I lased on an interior green before I shoot it tomorrow with the olive.
