Finally got some time to work on the Rufe. It's been a busy week. Finished up the engine cowl w/engine installed. Also finished the prop. Glued a piece of sprue onto the nose of the fuselage so I'd have something to hold onto when I paint. I can clip it off when done, and it will be inside the cowl and not seen. Hope to put the prime coat on tomorrow. Also painted the area of the cockpit that will be inside the canopy. The canopy is masked and being painted as we speak.

Looking good Charles, are they decals on the prop tips or hand painter stripes?

Decals.... thought I'd try them rather than paint. I'm told the Tamiya decals are better than most.

Edit: At 11:30 while trying to tape the cockpit prior to painting, I broke off a wing float. That will set me
back a couple of hours.
