I only need about a half hour to finish it all up, but I've spent so much time on the back portch working on The F-6 this weekend that I think the wife would kill me if I went out there again. :dead:

Not all P-59's had sliding canopies. At least one had a hinged canopy similar to the Bf109.

Don't blink or you will miss it but you can see the hinged canopy in this video.

I finally found the time to watch the entire video. Very interesting. that 3 second shot of the hinged canopy explains the difference between the canopies of the XP-59 and the YP-59. Thanks for posting it.
