Hello all,

Mayer had a "white 1" and a "white 7".
My suspicion is regarding w.nr.6720... This aircraft had undoubtedly the victory markings on the 2 sides of the rudder and it's probably w.nr.6720 on the photo below (victory markings of "white 1" are barely visible). So, if we look at the first 2 photos on post#3, we can see that the 3rd group bar is is further from the fuselage cross and no victory markings; no leaf in the trees. I think this "white 1" is another aircraft flown by E. Mayer after w.nr.6720 during Falls 1941. Although the picture is a little distant from "white 1", don't we should see the black paint to hide the exhaust stains or the staffelkapitan badge on the antenna mast ?

w.nr.6720 was 15% damaged after belly landing (enemy fire) 20/09/1941
We can see here no black paint...

I think I might have some info, pics and profiles of Mayer's different aircraft Steph. Leave it with me, and I'll check it out and let you know by tomorrow evening.
