I plan on doing a serrate ops beaufighter from 141 sqn during august 1943.
References are hard to come by but i think it might look like this Beau pictured below.

    Thank you Sir.

Up to now i am planning to do Bob Brahams beaufighter X8147, which might have been coded RD B.
So the plan is all over med sea grey with dark green disruptive camouflage on the upper surface and dull red code letters.

As no pictures or real details exist no-one can say i am wrong

Good one Karl. I'll see if I can find any pics, of the Squadron at least, in my Beau books and others.

Cheers mate, i have only seen 1 profile of TW K with the black undersides and Steph's pic of TW T which is a MkI with a thimble nose AI MkVII radar ?

Both night fighter ace and pursuit through darkened skies have generic pics of MkVI's as described above showing as flown by 141sqn !

I see. Why the RD code letters for his kite? The 141st Squadron had the TW.

This is the tricky part !

It is thought he may have used his initials on his beaufighter as was practiced by wing commenders in the RAF.

His planes was nicknamed Betsy so i believe it might have been coded "B" ?

Grasped now. However I don't believe the Beau could have been marked with his initialls at that time.

I admit i am not sure either.

I have read that he used his initials from people who have read "scramble" his book !

    But nothing is certain ?

It looks like the Beaufighter will be well represented in this GB.
