Added the cockpit tub and taped the halves together to ensure a proper fit. On hold now until I find my epoxy to set the the required 20+ grams of weight to keep the nose down

 
Some rapid progress and nice work there Geo.
If you can't find the epoxy, try to get some 'Plasticine' kids modelling clay - it can be pressed around the nose weights to hold hem in place, and also adds a little extra weight. It's also a lot less messy, and much quicker, than using epoxy.
 
Superglue it was. Starting to glue the fuselage together, so far it is seamless though there isn't a lot of seam on the top as there are 2 inserts. A good thing as the panel lines are raised
 
Thanks guys. Fuselage gluing is done, just letting the tail set up.



Though I mentioned the seams were almost perfect, this will be painted silver so work need to be done. This is my first attempt at using superglue to fill seams, just need some fine grade sand paper to smooth it out. The pic above shows the 3 small areas that have seams.



Having said that, a test fit of the inserts shows a less than stellar fit....



....I'll work at getting the best fit on the seam that contains the hinges and then worry about the rear.
 
Thank you sir. I filed and fit and filed and fit and got it to acceptable. This is just a test fit, the only issue will be at the left rear where the part has rounded off.



Done for another week, camp bus in 90 minutes. Have a good week gentlemen.
