I did some improvements to the rear cockpit based on some references George sent me. i added floor structure detail and also built the seat frame. There was canvas stretched between the bars and I will probably use some sort of paper for it after the basic painting is done

Still have to add a few things then I'll move on to the cockpit. That must have been an awfully uncomfortably small space to be cooped up in. It looks like the level of the floor is correct (Fuel tank below I believe) so hardly any leg room and the seat looked particularly uncomfortable
 
Looks like a canvas 'hammock' type of seat - not a place to spend a lot of time in !

I've been continuing with the cockpit improvements.
Pic 1 The front and side panels of the rear cockpit. I added an some wire and a box with some sort of instrument in it.
Pic 2 More bits for the front cockpit
Pic 3 a whole lot of chromate green sprayed around. Still needs a dark wash and a lot of detail painting
