Terry gave me the pak 40 from his Dragon Ju88 P-1 kit as the italeri effort is a joke, kit part on left, Dragon part on right !

ok took a bit of work to get the Dragon pak 40 to fit into the kit's gondola and be the right lengh of barrel.
so i found a small ring of plastic
glued it into the gondola
cut the barrel to the correct length
and glued it into the ring i put into the gondola to reduce the size of the opening.

almost done, just got to add the exhausts to both engines and paint the retactable step, but what colour (white red like an Fw 190) ?

the retactable step doesn't seem to be painted in the same way the Fw190A one was. I have found a couple of pictures of it and it seems to be either of bare metal ( aluminium ) colour with the bottom part of the undersides paint or it was of the RLM02 with the stirrup of the undersides one.
