So Ok I read some online reviews all about how Tamiya had released a better IL-2 then AM. Now it was near a ten year gap in there, but, If the Tamiya kit is that much better then this kit, Good Gawd there is nothing for the "model builder to do. This is one major beatify and then some. When was the last one night build you had. No muss no fuss. The reviewer of one was fussing about the forward cowl mate to the rear fuselage. The only dumb thing I have seen so far was that they wanted me to wait until I was ready to install the prop to put the exhaust in. While I know I am supposed to upload photos. I just could not stop any longer then to take them. So HERE WE GO>

Just a little more, this is like a good novel, I just can't seem to put it down. This is a delightfully wonderful kit. Gee and for 7 and a half bucks. I must admit I am happy with my cockpit, I feel I have done much better on this one then some past.

Very nice, curious to see what finish you apply. Looking like she will be ski equipped.

The control surface control rods are pretty tiny and love to spring off of the sprues, be careful with them as they are quite delicate.

    Cheers,

    Jeff

Thanks everyone. Cockpit called for RLM02, and yes it will be on skis. I need to do the camo patterned and then white wash it like the Ju 88 though I think I may not do as much white.

THX Don. But i don't think it is correct though. Anyway it has already been done and there is no need to repaint this.

Yeah I had a bit of conflicting inputs, it looked like early birds had 02 and latter birds had the blue. I don't have much information on them and went with the instructions.
