**** DONE: 1/48 P-39-K-1 - Allied Manufactured Aircraft

Hello,
Thank you for the comments here is some work. 30mm canon in the propeller spinner is done. To the left is for P-39K and to the right is for P-39N.
I re-engraved some wrong panel lines on the undersides and filled a panel line in the wing tips with cyanoacrylate.

I searched in my docs but not sure regarding the ID lights on P-39K and N under the starbord wingtips ??? I found some photos with it and others without... I read somewhere that only the US P-39K-L-M-N and Q had it, not the Soviet P-39's...
Any info for me please ? :-)

:-)

It sure is !

Very nice pre-shading. Can't wait to see what you do with weathering!
As far as my research goes, the USSR didn't use anything from the decadent west that would call attention overtly to aircraft until around late 1944. So lights, probably... no.
They were funny that way...

Hello,
Painting done ! I added some AMT-7 and AMT-4 paint to hide US national insignias
She will be at rest this week-end and gloss cote will be probably applied Monday :-)
Paul, thank you for the info ;-)
