Yep - American beer (with a few exceptions), is like making love in a canoe - ****ing close to water !!!

I'm back and I finally had time to work on my plane. Last night I wanted to be able to slide my windows open so I made some new windows. First I stuffed tp into the canopy and held a Popsicle stick on the bottom so that the dried plug would have a flat bottom. Then I put the plug onto a stack of nail file boards so that nothing protruded beyond the edges of the plug. I added some thin tape to the plug to better show where the widow edges would be to cut them later. Took a water bottle and cut off the ends carefully. Then added wood to the pile and set the plug inside the bottle. Used a heat gun to shrink the bottle around the plug and created the window form I needed. Finally I cut the parts I wanted directly from the plastic and there are my sliding windows.

Added some wiring to the right side of the plane, Then put some brake lines into the wheel well. Finally, I didn't like what was offered for the guns so I took a medical needle, cut and filed it, then inserted it into the gun pod after a hole was drilled where the gun should go. This part came out nicely.

Got a bit more done today. Both halves are now together, drilled two holes per direction just forward of the pilot's window one on either side. Also assembled the wings, horizontal stabs, and attached them to the fuselage. Both hubs and propellers are also assembled. Pictures to follow tomorrow. Got to rest now before I have to go back to work. Thanks for everyones kind remarks.
