Ya think the U-2 took a bit from them thar wings??????
Working on MM I can see why you work in 1/32nd for the most part. They do go a bit faster than 1/48th.
Is there somewhere that tells us what paint you use?
Bill I use almost exclusively Tamiya Acrylics....for this one the RLM76 Lt. Blue/Grey is a mix of Light Blue, Lt. Grey and White. the RLM82 Bright green is XF-67 NATO Green which seems to be a good match straight out of the bottle.
Thanks fellas... moved further along and painted the Cowl in RLM70 as late war the engine and cowl was supplied finished from Junkers, however i am still tossing and turning as to what the colour actually is.....70 or 83 or even 71 or another Green??? So i may yet change it....
Also started the RLM83 Dark Green on the wings....
got the 83 on the fuselage today and touched up both 82 and 83 on the wings.....thought about the standout colour of the 70 on the cowling when compared to the various photo's as it looks different from the various angles and times of day the shots were taken....then i thought just maybe the 70 was toned down with a light overspray of the 82 bright green after it was attached....and it actually looks the part.
Tones down the dark colour of the 70 (First Pic) and matches it closer to the 83 Dark Green in the other pics, seems to 'fit' with the appearance of the Black and white images where the cowl looks a tad lighter.....
