**** DONE: GB-44 1/48 RF-101C - Military A/C of post-war time

I like sprue cuz it's cheap.

Till I burn down the house cuz it becomes a fuse to the bottle of model glue which spills flames on to the mineral spirits and catches the piles of paper and plastic which gets Into the carpet soaked in glue paint and solvent. Hey this is making me happy!

OK so, more work accomplished. Has some indents on either side from the lower fuselage panels to the nose gear. triled a small bit of cardstock and fitted then filed/sanded to fit. filed and sanded the .030 rod down and oh my it's really starting to look like the item depicted on the box top, more boze please, it always looks better after a dozen shots. Hit it with some Dark Tan (DT) and then some Dark Green (DG) and it's taking on the Python look. Hard to see on my table, Camo is getting better!

Paint looks great, It almost blends in with your bench perfectly ! Kind of how mine looks at times !

I got some paint moving today but it was very hard. My arthritis is really acting up bad and I have pinched nerves in my neck that puts my right arm and hand out most of the time and a lot of pain and my left arm out half the time. Today it's everything. I can hardly move even typing is hard.

I've used Tester Model Master Enamels for the top and the Camo Grey only comes in acrylic now.

Looks great ! And yeah it seems Testors has dropped a lot of their MM Enamels, especially the RLM colours, I'm choked !

Looking good don, and welcome to SMAC - Scale Modellers Arthritic Club !

Looks like the MM enamel paints are going, after that announcement a few months back. They're no longer available from the usual suppliers in the UK, which is a bummer. Just used their 'Day Glo' orange on the F-5E belly tank, and it went on beautifully, especially for a fluorescent, and is the only paint I know of in this specific colour. Just hope my bottle doesn't "go off!, as I need it for a couple of RAF training types.
