So Eduard give you the tail stripes as red on clear film so you have to paint the tail white first.
i was planning on painting the red stripes but the decals for the red star, some small stencils and a small white badge on fin tip are all printed as one on the large tail decal !

So tail was painted white.

The picture makes it look much rougher than it is
I plan to paint the rest, leaving the tails off until the decals for the fin are on and settled, here's hoping they fit.

Little bit of progress from yesterday.
got the underside painted, and also the red nose, two thin straps on the nose need masking and painting aluminium but will do that after i get the top side painted grey.

Noticed a bit of red needs touching up round the lip of the cowling !

got the topside painted this morning, major painting is now done apart from aluminium banda around the engine cowl and squares of unpainted aluminium behind where the exhaust will be fitted
