I've been chipping away at it little by little over the last month but haven't had time to take pictures so this morning I took a lot of pictures and here's a lot of catch-up
The main assembly all filled, filed, sanded, polished and ready for paint once I get the masks on
The prop hub assembly before (don't pay any attention to the seat) and after. Lots of cleanup
The prop blades before and after. again, lots of cleanup and all the detail had to be cut into then with hobby knife and needle file.
The engine cowlings cleaned up and ready for paint
Gear doors painted and ready to go
Landing gear struts and wheels done except paint the rubber
Engines and exhaust stubs ready to go
The directional antenna football was a mess with a big molding step in it and a base shape that had no basis in reality. A lot of tedious filing and sanding and it looked better. an un touched one is on the left.
And now for the reason for the long delay in updating. I've been working building a retaining wall to prevent the washing out of my driveway pictured in post #30. All done myself with my pick, shovel, and aching back. Still 2 levels of block to go!
