Thanks for the comments.
I prefer work with enamels for the little surfaces or details but, here, in France, since several months, it's hard to buy Humbrol or Revell enamels. Numerous shops no longer stock this type of paint...
Cockpit defitively finished, the only work on the gunsight was to remove a little thickness from the glass. One of the 2 gunsights in the box is the good one for my project, so, no resin gunsight to make.

Great looking innards Steph. I was getting ready to seal up the cockpit when I remembered that the wiring behind the I.P. would be visible. Holes drilled and waiting for paint to dry on the wiring

Photo 5: arrangement/shaping (?) of the wires of the first row
Photo 6: second row glued and ignition wires of the first row painted
