Looking good Bill.
Can't see the part for the floor clearly, but has it got a "floor" over the wing top surface ?
Both the Tamiya and ICM kits have the part modelled on the P-51A series, with the curved, metal floor being the top of the wing, which should be a wooden floor on the P-51B/C / Mustang 111.

Yep it does. Here's a clear photo.
Working on it today.

My second go with this post.
I hope my NEW laptop is finished restarting on me!
Windows 11 what a crock of BS it is.

Starting here, I did think I had to remove all
that resin from underneath....

Then realized I only needed to remove
the air exhaust tunnel from the kit part.

It fits perfect behind the resin part.

Unlike most, I do have a problem sawing
big chunks of resin from these things.
I do a bit of woodwork, Japanese pull saws,
but do have a cheap one for general
crap cutting. I used it today, wow!
Gotta go slow, just the weight of the saw
and cut in the pulling motion.
Works a treat!

There, done and no lapyop restart!!!!!!!!!

So I had to chop some more.
Room for the roof of the wheel wells part!

Done for the day!

Good stuff Bill. Bill, if you haven't stopped Windows 11 from restarting all the time, try this. Go into settings and find "Windows Update". Mine is on the left at the bottom. Click on "Advanced Options"

Make sure everything is turned off. Windows 11 is an update b!tch.

You'll know its time to update when your machine slows down or you get a little icon on the bottom right of your screen

Hope this helps

So today, temp outside is near 30 so f'n no for that!
Working on the radio gear, pictures of this area are like Hens teeth!
Turned to the seat, it's crushed anna broke!
In my "spares" I found a good one to do a bit of a mod.
Seems to be an OK fit, so I'll use that.
BTW, I have about a 10 of them butter tubes, spares sorted!

Looks like there was No back seat fuel tank! This is my conundrum....
I can find No "parts list" for the B/C like I have for the D. Icdont know why I get so fixated with some parts. I want to make the Shelf above the tank for the radio gear. Arrrgh.

So now I understand a little more about this FX883 A/C.
There appears to be No filler cap behind the pilot,
there for No tank, all electronics, so is the way I will go.
The parts list made it all clear enough for Me to understand
thank you! This is a start!!!!!!
