Stupid question. The seat to me it looks like pink?Got some more done on a Sunday night. All cockpit details were painted, I applied the Tamiya decal to the bottom of the instrument panel, and began assembly of the cockpit. Will need a wash and a little weathering but it's looking good so far!
Lighting or lack off. Check post #27 and we have a brown seat back.Stupid question. The seat to me it looks like pink?
No pink, the bottom metal part is gray green, the back pad is Tamiya buff. I dry brushed it with a burnt umber oil paint to resemble some New Guinea mud and dirt, and the buckle on the Quinta seat harness has a piece that looks reddish pink on the end of the buckle, so has to be a trick of the light.Stupid question. The seat to me it looks like pink?
Works well for this type of painting. How do you find that painting stand Dave (it's a Tamiya, right?). Looks the job for keeping kits off the deck when painting.
