Thanks guys. :) Here's yesterdays progress on the Millie G
The first 2 pictures show the radio wiring installation using fine copper wire strands from a telephone cord. I tried to replicate the look of the tan fabric covered wire used at that time my painting it tan and then doing a black wash to try to bring out the detail of the rough texture of the copper strands.
The last picture is the fuselage halves glued together. The fit was near perfect and will only need a light sanding of the joint.

I managed to sneak in a little time at the workbench between science projects this weekend and did some detailing on the landing gear bay. I had already done a black wash, so I went on and did the detail painting and a light dry-brushing with silver. I also added some hydraulic lines made from copper wire.
