Yeah will probably but a really cheap 1\48 kit Chuck it together and use it as a "hack"

Thanks guys.
I have painted the underside a very dark grey (pics a bit later )as I thought black would be too stark, I painted my Lysander plain black and I don't like it at all.
I plan to overpaint the markings with black for a bit of contrast as in the picture below.
I may also leave the upper surface markings alone ( White cross outlines ) again for a more interesting look.

Andy, I used roughly 2 parts Vallejo basalt grey to 1 part black.
Very happy with the look of it, much better than the pure black on my Lysander.

I'm guessing it looks the part, and the second pic shows better contrast - but the pics make it look slightly 'bleached' and bluish grey, but I'm sure that's the lighting (or flash?).
