The steam locomotive is the French SNCF 2-141.TC.3 one. In other words it is the CF du Nord locomotive 4.12xx series that were assembled by seven manufacturers, including the railway's own workshops at Hellemmes, Lille from 1932 to 1935. The series contained 72 locomotives in total. If the SNCF number seen in the pic is correct the loco is one of the first five ones mad by the workshop at the Hellemmes in 1932–33 (4.1201 – 4.1205 SNCF no. 2-141.TC.1 to 2-141.TC.5 )

It is our next "acquaintance" seen in the previous posts. It is the no. 470 "CONDE" of the 28e BCCr , 1ère compagnie.

On June 13, 1940, the CONDE and the FAIDHERBE took up position at the edge of a small wood north of Souilly, 280 meters from the Ourcq Canal. Barely an hour into position and camouflage, the two tanks spotted an enemy motorized column approaching them, 2 km away. They let it approach until their presence was detected, and fire was opened on them. The two tanks, with their cannon and machine gun fire, knocked the entire column out within three-quarters of an hour.
After this battle, the CONDE and the FAIDHERBE were ordered to withdraw to the village, and their crews were relieved.
The CONDE was abandoned on June 14 or 15.
