AAAARGH!!!! I went to put gloss black on the hood and a BUG LANDED ON IT AS I WAS SPRAYING!!!! so I sanded it and sprayed the flat black...yeah, I'm gonna have to strip the paint again.....I'm getting seriously frustrated, cos the last stages of this thing are going wrong at every turn...I ALREADY can't send this thing to my father due to financial restraints, which gives me more time to finish this, but still, it frustrates me.....:(

Thanks, Geo! the decals are definitely a charm! it's coming along so amazingly well, I'll probably be finished either tonight or tomorrow morning. then it'll be a couple coats of future floor shine.

Guys.....she's done....the decals, anyway. I know I'm not 100% finished with it, but now it's all a matter of spraying the future floor polish on it, marrying the body to the chassis, installing the windows, and gluing the wheels to the base. I'm a bit emotional, now cos I can't believe I'm nearly done with this thing!

btw, how would future floor polish work with clear parts? and someone said to use a dryer sheet after the future dries and cures. what does that do?

thanks, fellas. my airbrush isn't cooperating with me to seal it, so I'm getting a new one. yay for Harbor Freight Tools!

yaay! new airbrush, things are flowing as they should be!

first coat of Future applied as I watch a movie about Dale Earnhardt. lol

I applied the final coat last night. Tonight, I'm gonna assemble the body to the chassis and install the windows, possibly glue the wheels to the base.
