The Shrike was the first of the "Modern" all metal low wing monoplanes. This one caries the markings of an aircraft with the 37th Attack Squadron at Langley Field, Virginia in 1934

And that is a typo Terry. Should read 1934 and has been corrected. It wouldn't have been very fun taking one of those on a ground attack mission in 1943
