Here's Lt. Rodger Farrell's P-40N "Island Dream" of the 7th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Group, Dobadura New Guinea, 1943-44.
I read up on the 49th during this build and learned quite a bit about a part of the war that I didn't realize how little I knew about. That's what I really love about this hobby.
