I was dragging my feet on this one, not wanting to be the first one again. BUT...Wow, you are fast.! Nice looking build.
Junkers Ju88 A-1 "Battle of Brittan" (Revell 04972) should qualify?Good work Ralph, and yes, level bombers, with up to four entries being allowed.
I'm kind of excited to work on a kit that has some very good cockpit and engine detail. This will be another kind of challenge, doing it justice. What JU88 kit will you (maybe) doing?Yes indeed.
I'm considering doing the same, in 1/48th scale, converting the Revell Ju-88A4 into a BoB A1, if I can get my darned hands to work !!
Ralph, it's the Revell (ex Dragon) 1/48th scale Ju-88A4, with a resin conversion kit for the engine nacelles, wing tips etc., in order to make a BoB period version, the Ju-88A1 ( the A-4 variant did not see service in the BoB).
It's a fairly simple conversion, even without the resin parts.

It is very strange for me see a SM 79 not in Regia insigne, but is very nice.Username: Ralph Haus
First name: Ralph
Category: Intermediate
Manufacturer: Airfix
Model: Savoia-Marchetti SM79 - Kit A04007V
Scale: 1:72
This turned out to be a fun/challenging build. A unique bird to say the least. Lots of filler, but all-in-all the gaps turned out (for me anyway) acceptable. Presenting Black-14, lovingly called my 'clown-car'.
