...and now for something completely different. Yes it was a real plane/car, yes it did fly, yes it did kill those who flew it.

Get Infranview or similar "free to download" programme.

Nice model. Anyone who flew it probably got what they deserved

Looks like it's probably a good model - but one side of the pic is on my monitor, ans the other side is still scrolling across!
As Darryl suggested, download 'Irfanview' for free. It's easy to use and a great way of editing, re-sizing and filing your pics.
Ideally, they should be no larger than around 800 x 600 pxl.

Yes there was. It was an AMC Matador not a Pinto (thank goodness or the movie would have had a premature ending).

Yes, the Bond was a Matador, most of the cars in that movie were AMCs. That was a movie prop. The Pinto actually did fly, check out this websight:

Nice looking model, Andy. It is quite different from the fighters and bombers we usually see here.

Thanks for the comments. The main reason for this build was my local modeling club is about half airplane and half car guys. Thought I could work both sides for a contest.

I wonder if the real flying version of the Pinto had self sealing tanks?

That car actually looks like an early (about 75 - 76) AMC Gremlin...

    Great job, though!
