Good stuff Don.
One small point I noted - the quilted sound-proofing material was, in most aircraft, either a 'sage' green or sometimes a dark green shade, as seen in the interior pics. With all of the added detail to date, it might be worth re-painting these areas.

Just to be clear, Joltin Josie was not B-29A. There were three specific models of B-29 used in WWII. The B-29, B-29A, and B-29B were those models. The A model was only built in Boeing Renton and had a different wing root assembly than the other B-29 models. The B-29 (no suffix letter) was built in Boeing Witichita, Martin Omaha, and Bell Atlanta. The B-29B was only built at Bell Atlanta.

Now near as I can figure,
141 ft wingspan is gonna be just shy of Three feet!
length of 99 ft, will be +/- 2 feet.

With the BF-110's in the paint shop I broke out the 29 for a bit more fun. FE's seat and Bombardier's seat and controls as well as the co pilots seat so far. Also test fitting and checking what can and can to be seen.

Sorry Terry, I just noticed you suggestion. I've looked at the coloring and have compared it in several photo's and think you are correct with the darker green for the padding. I'll have to play with the colors to try and get it right though. Thank you for the catch.

While on the interior color question, The weapons bay (more commonly call a bomb bay). I see most war time shots look to be it natural metal and interior green bomb racks but some seem to shot it interior green, thoughts and commits are welcome.
 
Very good progress Don, begin to see the wonders of PE. You have a lot of ground to cover and it will be worth having a magnifying glass and an LED lamp, to walk around inside.

Working on the nose gear well and what a (that book Terry offered) it is. Each of the ribbings have to be folded and (YES THE CARPET MONTER REQUIRED A VIRGIN) it was not easy. You can see how small they are, but the ones that had to be folded in half were the "easy" ones. the long ribs are folded at about the 1/4 length! Oh yes that book that Terry offered, choose any page you like and use liberally in this post. I am liking the gel super glue. It seems to be a lot easier and more effective then the full flow type.
