Looking good. I found nothing about #69 in the 57th FG book. I have 4-5 Ninth Air Force history books to look through when I get home
Thanks Geo, been looking sme myself. Eduard used it's markings in their Thunderbolts over Italy release and it is quite different from these.

Been working cockpits. Shadowing and wiring added as well. I used the lead thread I picked up sometime ago for the first time, attached using super glue gel and then painted the wiring "Testors Panzer Buff",


Both cockpits side by side 23-RA on left and 27-RE on Right.
 
Spit a little Testors Model Master Metalizer Aluminum on the ol gal and she showed me where I needed to do more cleanup work. I took a fine sanding stick and went to work cleaning it up. well see. I'm leaving in the morning for North Texas for funeral service for my sister so I'll not be working on anything for a couple days.
