GB 46 Split Build - WW2 Eastern Front / Twin Engine A/C, Transports and Gliders

I'm having a change of heart with this new era building malarkey. Better the devil you know I guess.

Thoughts are now turning to the 1/72 Italeri D-day Horsa kit that comes with the 13 para figures for GB46.
Then follow up with the Italeri D-day Stirling IV glider tug for GB47. Once both are then done, build a tasty embarkation diorama.

I think with the time line of those two GB's I could get that done no problems. It would also put both GB builds to some use in a diorama in the end rather than have two unrelated random models floating about.

Settled on the AM Il-2 but there's too much stuff on my bench and I'm not going to put 3 unfinished kits on the naughty shelf. I want to finish the Glad and the 2 Spits before I start.
