I've neglectful in updating, sorry. As most common view of a mustang is inner gear door up when on the ground, I elected to do that. The doors are a bit too large to be closed so it took so filing to get them to fit.

and then some filling to clean things up

Mr. Sufacer 1500 spray on..

Very good Don. I like that about the inner doors. You can close rhem and hide all the details that are usually missing.

Yes that is one thing, but it is also quite accurate to have them closed, the gear well on this kit is pretty good but could still use the tubing for hydraulics and electrical, I've never gotten to that, I should but….

Well paint must go on eh....
Bottom is light grey (USAF Camouflage Grey)

I tried "silly putty" (note the blue egg) for demarcation lines, it seems to act much like the AK Camouflage elastic putty, but not quite as bad) a bit thicker and doesn't run as much, though still does.

After a drying period I'll take off the putty and re do as needed the dark sea grey and clean up any opp's I have (always seems to be some).

Thanks' Karl and Geo, Geo I didn't note any staining but I am using acrylics and though some of the putty did sit over night (wife had a flat tire and that's a story for another time), the acrylics are fast drying so the putty is only down for say fifteen to thirty minutes. I've overstated the obvious and pointed out when I need to re-mask and lay down more grey or green as needed.
