Thing is, the cockpit assy has holes in the framework that match Pins on the sidewall of the fuselage. This is the result I got mating these. Not a factor with resin replacement.Yep, the "headrest" part is the head/back armour plate, and should be forward of the half bulkhead at the front of the "doghouse".
I had found this in my search for WT?Good stuff so Far Bill, and yes, the escape hatch on the starboard side wasn't hinged. It was a "knock out" panel, released by a lever inside and then jettisoned.
Over and over, the holes are on the Upper half of the wing, lined up with shell chutes Under. No other way to place them.Quite a gap on those gun inserts. Have you checked they're the correct orientation, side for side (although it looks like they'll still have gaps.) ?
