Well, I've been draggin' my butt at getting back on this build and doing some other stuff as well as being very busy at work in the lead up to Christmas....
time to get into it....
Wings assembled from a couple of weeks to set things in motion again and one additional image from the past day or two's work, have started putting stretch sprue pieces into the wing panel lines to erase them.

I like the stretched spru idea but I can never get mine to stretch that long, I'm either to fast or too slow with the pull.

Wayne, I like the idea of stretched sprue and then sanding them back for the wings. I need to try that on my next mustang.

It can take some time Vic, a fair bit of this lot was too fine...got lots of stretch, got to do some more to get a better match for the panel lines...I like the stretched spru idea but I can never get mine to stretch that long, I'm either to fast or too slow with the pull.

Thanks for your patience Guys, finally some further new progress... pile of stretched sprue to get moving...
the Port upper wing has had primary sanding to the stretched sprue panel lines already done , and further sprue has been added to the Starboard upper wing and both sides of the Lower wing sections...

Thanks guys, been off the radar for the past week, being on holidays, have had full days and nights that kept me off the Computer and not much modelling either.... however I have managed to sand flush all those raised panel lines on the lower wings.....!
