Granted her heels are a cause for concern, but the root is solid, so no harm, no foul.
Except for the divots those spike heels will make in the aluminum under the nonskid. Had to fix it once on a Beech Sundowner, which I'm sure is more robust than an Ercoupe. Cost the renter $1100, and I think the boss gave him a discount. Took almost two whole days of shop time.
