I'm almost done with my seafury, Hopefully by the time the weather is warm enough it'll be done.

This one is actually a top flite kit. I normally like to build from my own plans and scratch everything but I got alot of gift certificates to a local hobby shop so I bought it. You really can't see from this view but I also installed retracts and a gear sequencer for the innner gear doors. That was a first for me but it's pretty cool. I'm also copying the kit and making a tempest MK V. It's pretty much the same as a seafury but the wing is longer and the fuselage is quite a bit different (which is where I am at this point in the build ).

here's a front view.

everybody is a critic. On the lighter side, I was going for the look of howard pardue's seafury that's on the airshow circuit. Plus a few other personal touches such as the year my son was born and his initials will be added on the tail. I'm gonna try for the official stuff on the tempest. I have the scheme, I just have to finish the plane. Hopefully before I start on my corsair and B-25. "So many projects with so little TIME "
