Great work on the exhausts Vaughan and you camouflaged the spiral misalignment nicely. I didn't realize you were going to go that route on the exhausts so this suggestion is now a little late, though you can file it for the future. Get yourself a roll of aluminum foil tape (that's aluminium in English ) that looks like this
Here in Canadder you can get this stuff at any hardware store or the "big box" home building centers. The tape is real metal but with an adhesive backing. It bends and folds with ease and sticks like sh!t to a blanket. I used this stuff to create the shiny oleos on gear struts and, closer to what you could have done, the spent cartridge chutes on my D-9 by simply wrapping the stuff around the square stubs I left in the plastic and shaping the ends square. No glue required:
Thanks for the info Andy yes it's too late as I have already glued them in situ but will definitely buy some and use in the future as it looks a lot easier to use.
