I've got some photos somewhere of the shoulder strap anchor points, but no doubt somebody will reply sooner!
Bear in mind that, generally, all harness straps were left at extension, slack, in order to ease fastening, and then pulled tight once fastened. In most cases, in all Air Forces, straps were (and still are) arranged in such a way as to facilitate entry into the seat, and easy donning of the straps. Exact positioning depends on aircraft type of course, and may have the shoulder straps spread either side of the seat, or over the seat back, for example, or hanging over the cockpit sill, with lap straps out of the way (of the seat pan), perhaps hanging down from their anchor points.
Of course, this partly defeats the object of including the harness on a model, as it might not be seen !!

Terry the only photos of seat belts I have are ones from a fantastic build by Carsten Christ and the real thing show two different styles of attachment. So not sure which one to go for.

Just had a look back on the forum and found this image posted by Stona in 2011 which clearly shows how they were attached so I've drilled two holes behind the pilots seat and have a dry fit with the buckles. I think once the belts are fitted it will look the part.

Belts now attached and I'm really pleased with the result.:) (still a dry fit at buckle anchorage point plus pilot seat as lap belts yet to fit)

Cheers Guys
The belts are finally together. The lap belts were a bit fiddly but maybe that's just my eyesight. They had a coat of varnish and then some weathering which has brought out the stitching detail. I don't think they've come out as well as the ones in the accompanying photos but maybe I'm being a bit hard on myself. They definitely look better than the PE equivalents and you are still able to manipulate them in situ.
