Thanks Guys,
Wayne,Terry, Vic go for it they are worth it. Hannants have a very good selection in 24, 32 and 48 scale which covers all the fources from WW2.

Small update as have not had much time for modelling over the last 10 days. I finished masking the canopy and it has been sprayed RLM66 followed by RLM74. The head rest has been added plus some weathering. Next step will be to start on the wings before I close the fuselage so I can establish if the fit at the wing roots will require some extra work.

Seconded.

One thing that bugs me about most 190 kits is that the open canopy doesn't make the "squeeze fit" resulting from the narrowing fuselage profile as the canopy rolls back on its rails. I wish other manufacturers, especially the pricier guys (like you know who) picked up on Eduard's example and provided two canopies: one for the closed position and a narrower one fro the open position.

A joy to look at the build Vaughan..!! And I have to confess...after your attention to the belts..I bought the Zero 1/32 set with HGW...just could not resist...best product yet on belts...
