Vaughan,
Thank you for the explanation on how you got that panel to just pop. My challenge is I tend to build mostly 1/48 and some times those panels are just so damned small. Not sure I can get the dry brushing to that detail. Does anyone know of "generic" instrument decals for 1/48? I could have sworn I ran across them SOMEPLACE. I just cannot find em now.

Dale if you are struggling with 1/48 scale you can always use individual instrument decals. Here in the UK I use airscale they produce decals, cockpit bezels and more. They also ship worldwide for £1.95. I hope this helps.

Hey, Vaughan,
I just order a couple of sets of 1/48 instrument decals for RAF, USAAF, and Luftwaffe, Thanks for the link!

Dale that's great, hopefully they won't take too long to arrive.

Hi Guys,
Well I opted to go with the prop. I started with an initial coat of black then once dry masked up, I then spayed the hub steel. I followed up with the prop tips first a light coat of white then yellow. Masking off and all looks good. All that's need is a coat of klear and the I can lay down the decals and then a final flat coat.

Hi Guys,
A small update prop decals are down and a coat of satin gloss applied despite temps being very cold which makes spraying quite difficult. Spinner cone yet to be sprayed in yellow and some weathering to follow.
