Loening M-8-O. Performance was so good that 5,000 were orderd by US before WW I ended. Most were cancelled but the US navy used a bunch of them through the twenties. It would be almost twenty years before another viable monoplane entered service. Many features were later incorporated into mainline fighter designs such as tunnel radiator bebeath fuselage. Kit is an old limited production one by 12 squared to 1/72 from the seventies.

nice stuff ,one of the few modellers work that I look at as your subjects are always good .I like the fact you do a good job on lesser known subjects
