Strange as it may sound, I like the two-seater more myself Mike!
Dave, yep, that's the one! Seen it in atleast 4 different books, two of which I have here:
-Die Grossen Luftschlachten des Zweiten Welt Kriegs ('The great air battles of WW II') - Kaiser Verlag, and
-The Enyclopedia of Aircraft of WW II - Amber books.
I think it was also in a book I have back in NZ, 'Hitler's Luftwaffe', by Tony Wood and Bill Gunston.

The pic above is the sole remaining "Arrow" as recently restored by the Germans (no swastika on the tail)
The swastika is now back on the plane (under German law today, it could be displayed in Germany with the Swastika), and is on display at the Smithsonian in Washington DC.

Out of all the axis crates I think the 202,205 and the G-55 were the racers

Oh, I like the Harpoon. Nice turret. Nice angle that picture was taken from. The Harpoon is a nice looking bird.

For me the best looking German plane has to be the 110 before they started sticking radar aerials on them. Lovely slim fuselage lines almost Dehavillandish to my eyes.
I actually really like the night fighter versions with the radar and antennas on the nose.

Ive always thought the P51 very sleek, but purposeful. I love the Luftwaffe planes and Like lucky 13 says, those Dora's! I find them beautiful in a Teutonic dominatrix sense.

I always thought that two of the most beautiful aircraft of WWII were German - the Me 410 and the Me 262. They have the bedroom curves, the sweeping lines, the come-hither tail and bright, big.......
